Thokozani Magwaza

Executive Chairperson

Thokozani brings to PMA’s management team over 29 years of successful executive management experience, focused on providing strategic, operational and financial leadership in both public and private sectors. He has a dynamic, results driven leadership style and a proven track record of increased performance and turnaround in high-paced organisations. His capabilities include an ability to drive organisational improvements and implementation of best practices. Superior interpersonal skills, capable of resolving multiple and complex operational, human capital, legal, financial and investments issues and motivating staff morale to attain high performance.

Marvin Sibutha

Executive Director: Actuarial and Risk

With a background in Actuarial Science, Marvin has extensive experience in the financial services industry spanning insurance products, healthcare products and retirement funds. Marvin brings to the team a wealth of industry knowledge in insurance company valuations, retirement fund valuations and post-employment healthcare valuations. Marvin holds a BSc in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics from the University of Pretoria and is a member of the Actuarial Society of South Africa. Marvin has previously worked for the likes of Old Mutual, Actuarial Outsourcing Solutions, Bophelo Life Insurance, Risk House Actuaries and ASI Financial Services. He currently sits on the board of Workers Life Insurance and Workers Life Assurance as a non-executive director. Marvin is also a shareholder and director of Octopus.

Limpho Mahloane - Malika

Executive Director: Business Development and Client Relations

With over 20 years of extensive corporate and industrial client relationship management experience in the financial services sector, Limpho is key to client relationships. Her sound knowledge of financial services legislation, life insurance products & pension funds, has allowed her to build a solid client services and administration department at PMA over the last 1 1/2 years. Along with her strong work ethic & leadership ability, Limpho is most valued for her excellent communication & presentation skills. Limpho holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and has previously worked for the likes of Metropolitan, Old Mutual, Oasis Group, Silica, Momentum, Absa Actuaries and Consultants, and African Unity Life. Limpho is the director and shareholder of Octopus.

Lufuno Madinginye

Executive: Operations

Lufuno’s management career in the Employee Benefits, Retirement fund, and Risk product industry, spans over 19 years. With a BCom in Management and IT, he has gained invaluable experience and developed strategic platforms at Alexander Forbes, Liberty Life, NBC Holdings, and Momentum. His proven track record demonstrates his ability to create, maintain, and manage strategic and operational objectives and build relationships with the fund and all involved stakeholders to ensure cross-delivery process solutions, while continuously monitoring process turnaround times and quality standards.
Lufuno demonstrates a commitment to resolving issues timeously to enhance effective client service delivery and his well-developed ability to manage and develop people is an asset to PMA Operations and its future.

Milton Buzuzi

Executive: Finance and Project Management.

CA (SA) Milton is a chartered accountant with expertise in external and internal audits, corporate finance, financial reporting, compliance, and risk management. He has vast experience in financial services: banking, insurance, pensions, asset management, and trust and beneficiary administration. He also has experience and interest in the public, retail, IT, and mining sectors. Milton accumulated most of his experience at big corporates such as KPMG, Grant Thornton, and Liberty Holdings Limited.
